TODD KOOS
Todd grew up in Harlan, Iowa. He attended Harlan Community High School where he participated in football, basketball, track and baseball. In 1988, Todd graduated with a BS in Biology from Morningside College in Sioux City, Iowa and went on to earn his degree in Physical Therapy from the Mayo School of Health-Related Sciences in Rochester, Minnesota (1990).
After graduation, Todd moved to Pensacola, Florida where he began working with both neurological and orthopedically injured patients in out-patient settings. After 7 years, he left Pensacola to attend Oral Roberts University's School of Theology and Missions in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He completed not only his Masters of Divinity (2001), but also his post-graduate training with the McKenzie Institute, USA, earning his CertMDT (Certified Mechanical Diagnosis and Treatment) for treatment of spinal injuries in 1998. During that time, Todd also married Raquel (ORU 1993) in 2003 and now have 4 children.
Todd and Raquel moved to Charlotte, North Carolina shortly after getting married. Once in Charlotte, Todd continued to work bi-vocationally as a PT and youth pastor and served for a season as the Senior Pastor of a local congregation. During that time, God directed Todd to step away from pastoral ministry in the “typical” setting and to begin a faith-based out-patient Physical Therapy Center in Monroe, North Carolina. The PT Center opened its doors on February 26, 2009 and has continued to grow since that time.

In his spare time, he loves to golf, swim, run, take his kids to the park and take naps. He loves seeing human life intersect with God’s love and compassion at just the right moment.
STEPHANIE BOWMAN
Stephi was born and raised in Durham, North Carolina. She played soccer year round for Triangle Futbol Club and attended Durham School of the Arts where she graduated in 2005. Her arts emphasis was visual graphics/photography as well as advanced level Spanish. In 2005 Stephi took her soccer game to Wingate University. An injury sidelined her soccer career, but she graduated with a Bachelors of Arts in Spanish in 2008 and a Bachelors of Science in Athletic Training in 2009. In her time at Wingate she worked with many sports teams including: men’s soccer, football, softball, and swimming. She passed the National Board of Certification in 2009 after graduation and currently holds her North Carolina license in Athletic Training.
After graduation from Wingate University, Stephi took an Assistant Athletic Training position on staff at St. Andrews Presbyterian College in Laurinburg, North Carolina. She worked primarily with their NCAA Division II men’s and women’s basketball and women’s lacrosse in the Conference Carolina’s. She has also worked for Sylvia Hatchell’s summer women’s basketball camps at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill as an Athletic Trainer. Stephi relocated in August 2010 to the Charlotte area to work as an Outreach Athletic Trainer for the Physical Therapy Center providing care to Anson Senior High School in Wadesboro, North Carolina.
Stephi resides in Charlotte with her rabbit Houdini and enjoys recreational soccer, crafts, and outside activities.

TINA MCJUNKIN
Tina is originally from Lancaster, South Carolina. She attended the University of South Carolina where she earned an Associate’s Degree in Secretarial Science. She began her working career in a local law firm providing clerical and paralegal services. After several years in the legal field, Tina became a customer service representative for Duke Power providing administrative and marketing services. She left this position after 12 years to devote her full attention to her two daughters, now ages 23 and 20.
After her children left home for college, Tina decided it was time to re-enter the workplace. Her caring personality and previous work experience seemed a perfect fit for the opportunity at the PT Center. She has found supporting the care-giving services provided by the PT Center to be most rewarding. Tina’s outgoing personality makes her a pivotal part of the PT Center staff, she provides prompt and personal service to everyone who walks through the PT Center doors.
Tina and her husband Chuck currently reside in Charlotte, North Carolina.
JULIA KING

Julia grew up in Charlotte, North Carolina. She attended high school at Charlotte Christian where she participated in track and field and graduated Suma Cum Laude in 2001. In 2005, she graduated Suma Cum Laude from Messiah College in Grantham, Pennsylvania with a degree in biology. She went on to earn a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at East Carolina University. While there, she researched the effect of exercise on type 2 diabetes and published a paper about sarcopenia (muscle wasting in elderly). Upon graduation in May 2008, she received the Student Award for highest GPA and top clinical scores.
She ventured to the Los Angeles, California area where she treated in outpatient pediatrics. She worked primarily with early intervention (0 to 3 years old) in clinical, home, and school settings. January 2010, she spent six weeks in a Spanish immersion program at Jabel Tinamit in Panajachel, Guatemala.
She has perused continued education in manual therapy and treatment of the spine as well as neurodevelopmental facilitation techniques (NDT).
In her spare time, she enjoys health/fitness, hiking, running, teaching 2-3 year old Sunday school and other church activities. She has participated with Team in Training through the Leukiemia and Lymphoma Society fundraising for cancer research and completing two marathons. She has also run in other half-marathons and several local races.

TANYA CROOKS
Tanya is an Occupation Therapist joining the PT Center Staff with 22 years of experience in her field. Tanya grew up in Aurora, Colorado enjoying the Rocky Mountains and snow. She played basketball, volleyball and softball in high school.
Tanya specializes in Hand Therapy and the evaluation/treatment of the Upper Extremity. She provides services for post operative and traumatic hand injuries. She graduated in 1989 from Colorado State University with her Bachelor of Science in Occupation Therapy. Tanya has extensive continued education in the latest and most current treatment techniques to bring the most effective and successful treatment options to Union County and surrounding areas. She has also expanded to the industrial medicine field, through both education for employers and FCE return to work testing. Tanya is able to provide both dynamic and static custom splinting services for all diagnosis and treatment needs. She also provides custom arthritis treatment plans and detailed hand therapy.
Tanya resides in Monroe with her husband Shaun and two sons. She enjoys cheering her sons on in sports, exercise, and spending time with her family and dogs.
